The story of AGRICOLA began more than 60 years ago, when we wanted to bring freshness to the homes of Romanians.

AVICOLA started its activity as an independent company.

Salbac Opening
The enterprise for the industrialization of pork, the forerunner of the company that today is called SALBAC, was established.
1976
Agricola International
The establishment of the Romanian-German company Agricola Internazionale S.A. Bacău.
1992
Launch of Agricola Brand
Agricola brings together all its products under one brand.

Aquisition
The company Avicola Lumina S.A. Constanța was acquired.

Agricola Rebranding
The launch of the Agricola `Neam de Gospodari` corporate brand.

Rebranding
The unification of the entire product portfolio under the same unified image and the launch of the campaign `Who eats together, stays together`.

Modernization of the Poultry abattoir
Agricola continues to expand its product portfolio, and this necessitated more space and modern equipment.
