Apple pie is a dessert loved by all. In this version, we will use Fresh Heart-Warming Eggs from Agricola to add an airy and soft texture to the top, thus creating a perfect balance between the sweetness of apples and the rich flavor of eggs.

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 large eggs
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 50 g melted butter

 

Method of preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Beat the Heart-Warming Eggs with the sugar until the mixture becomes light in color. Add the flour and baking powder, mixing gently. Pour half of the batter into a pan on a greased kitchen sheet. Place the apple slices on top of the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon. Pour the rest of the batter over the apples. Meanwhile, caramelize the sugar and add the almonds/walnuts. Remove the cake from the oven, add the almond mixture and bake for another 10 minutes.
