However, there are many student recipes that can be made quickly and are delicious. From chicken dishes to egg and sausage dishes, these are perfect for student life, especially in examination period when time is limited. Some of these recipes are:

  1. Pan cooked chicken breast and sausages

If you want a quick and convenient lunch or dinner, this recipe is ideal for student life.

Ingredients:

  • Puiul Fermierului Boneless Breast 
  • Sausages/salami of your choice
  • Condiments (salt, pepper, garlic powder)

Method of preparation: Cut the chicken breast – Puiul Fermierului and the sausages into small pieces. In a preheated pan, add the chicken breast and sausages. Season to taste and fry until the chicken is cooked through.

  1. Quick sausage and egg omelette

A simple breakfast to make in a student dorm, this omelette will give you the energy you need to face a busy schedule.

Ingredients:

  • 3 Happy Eggs 
  • Sausages/salami, finely chopped
  • Salt, pepper

Method of preparation: Beat the Happy Eggs in a bowl and add the finely chopped sausages. Mix and season. Pour the mixture into a hot pan and cook until the omelette is firm and golden.

  1. Chicken salad on a budget

Ideal for lunch or dinner, this is one of our most popular recipes, perfect for those looking for healthy and affordable options.

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken breast boiled and finely chopped
  • Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers
  • Sliced sausages/salami
  • Dressing of your choice

Method of preparation: Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl. Add the dressing and mix well.

  1. Sibiu salami sandwich

How could a student enjoy their dorm life without making the famous quick sandwich, that on-the-go snack? In the absence of time and a more accessible budget, the sandwich is always a delicious alternative that can satisfy the craving of the moment.

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of wholemeal or white bread (according to preference)
  • Sibiu salami 
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Pickled cucumbers
  • Mayonnaise or mustard (optional)
  • Condiments (salt, pepper, or favorite spices)

 

Method of preparation: Place all the ingredients on the table to have them at hand. Take two slices of bread and place them on a plate. Spread mayonnaise or mustard on the bread slices, if desired. Add green salad leaves, slices of Sibiu salami, tomatoes and pickled cucumbers. Season to taste with salt, pepper or other seasonings of your choice and place the other two slices of bread on top and press gently to assemble the sandwich.

Tips&Tricks: Cut the sandwich in half to make it easier to eat. You can serve this sandwich with a portion of fries or chips for extra taste.

  1. Dorm pizza

Not all students prefer to order a pizza but they choose to take some of their precious time to make a pre-made pizza which usually doesn’t taste the same as a fresh and warm one. We offer students an easy-to-make recipe: delicious dorm pizza.

ingredients

  • 1 package of pre-made pizza dough (available in most stores)
  • Olive oil (for greasing the dough)
  • For the topping:
  • Tomato sauce
  • Grated mozzarella
  • Sibiu salami
  • Oregano or other aromatic herbs

Method of preparation:

  1. Prepare the Dough: Follow the instructions on the pizza dough package to spread it on a pan greased with olive oil.
  2. Add the Topping: Cover the dough with the tomato sauce, leaving an edge for the crust. Sprinkle grated mozzarella over the tomato sauce, then add thin slices of Sibiu salami or your favorite ingredients. Season with oregano or other aromatic herbs for intense flavor.
  3. Place the pizza in the preheated oven at the temperature indicated on the dough package (usually 180-200°C). Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is nicely melted.
