And to offer you the best, the owners of Agricola International S.A. take care of the chicks from the very first steps: they supervise their reproduction and incubation, feed them with carefully selected feed and, together with veterinary specialists, give them the best care so that they grow up big and healthy.
The production chain
The promise of fresh produce is present at every stage of production. Through compound feed and an ultra-modern, fully automated and secure poultry slaughterhouse, we ensure a varied, healthy, properly packaged and attractive feed for every appetite in the family.
Thus, we deliver, daily, more than 100,000 chicken heads, in safe conditions, excellent health and freshness, carefully checked by specialized veterinarians.
The entire production chain is carried out with the help of the most modern technologies, fully automated and under the strict conditions of food safety imposed by the latest standards of the European Union.
AGRICOLA adheres to the conditions of the European Commitment for Chickens (ECC)
The Joyful Chicken is a Hubbard JA757, a breed that thrives in harmony and can exhibit your natural behaviors. Grown slowly, in a minimum of 56 days, it never stands in an agglomeration of more than 30 kg/m2 so that it can express itself freely.
It is produced only in Romania, raised and cared for 100% without antibiotics, treated as needed with plant extracts and essential oils and respecting all EU animal welfare provisions.
Slaughter is done by effective electrical stunning without real-time reversal to minimize discomfort to the birds. All these criteria are part of the requirements of the European Chicken Commitment, which we fulfill through the production of the Joyful Chicken.
They have two meters of usable perch space and two pecking substrates per 1000 birds, so they can perch and peck at will, just as they do in nature.
