This recipe is part of the Healthy Nutrition Guide for Children, created by the “Agricola Neam de Gospodari” Association
Ingredients:
✓ 4 whole wheat pita bread
✓ 200g mushrooms
✓ 3 green onions
✓ 2 tbsp olive oil
✓ 100 g Sibiu salami
✓ 200 g Gouda cheese
✓ 100 g red, green and yellow bell peppers, cut into strips
Salad
✓ 100 g bell peppers, diced
✓ 150 g tomatoes, diced
✓ 150 g cucumbers, cut into slices
✓ 2-3 sprigs of dill
Do not wash the mushrooms! Wipe them with a damp cloth, cut into slices and sauté together with the white part of the green onions (finely chopped) and olive oil.
Place one peace of whole wheat pita in a non-stick pan and heat lightly. On half of it, put the slices of sautéed mushrooms, 4-5 slices of Sibiu salami and 2 slices of Gouda cheese. Roll and place in the oven, ot a medium temperature, until the Gouda cheese melts. You can serve this roll with a salad on the side. Prepare the salad with diced cucumbers, bell peppers and tomatoes sprinkled with a little bit of chopped dill.
Tips & Tricks
You can prepare the tortilla at home from 250 g of flour, a pinch of salt, 3 tablespoons of grape oil, 150 ml of warm water. Create a dough and roll it out in a round form, then bake it in a pan or on a baking tray.
