Ingredients:
✓ 100 g dried dates, pitted
✓ 80 g pre-hydrated raw hazelnuts (soaked in warm water for 1 hour)
✓ 50 g coconut flakes
✓ 1g vanilla powder
✓ 30 g coconut flakes – for decoration
Chop the dates into cubes. Drain the hazelnuts and dry them with a kitchen towel, then chop them coarsely and place in a bowl, along with the coconut flakes and vanilla powder. Mix all the ingredients by hand, then place them in the fridge for 15 minutes. With a teaspoon form the candy balls and roll them through the coconut flakes. Place them in the fridge.
You can use any other oilseeds, but don’t forget to pre-hydrate them first.
Tips&Tricks:
Be careful when buying dried fruits, such as figs, dates, etc. If they are very dry it means they are either old or were not correctly stored by the seller. We suggest you buy them in a high quality package, not just a basic plastic one.
